The iQoo Z8x will debut in China on Thursday alongside the iQoo Z8, the latest addition to the company’s Z-series of phones, and iQoo has now revealed the key specifications of the handset on Weibo. The upcoming iQoo Z8x will be powered by a Snapdragon chipset. The phone is expected to debut as the successor to the iQoo Z7x that was launched in China earlier this year. The latter is powered by a 6,000mAh battery that supports 80W fast charging.

According to Weibo postal iQoo says that the upcoming iQoo Z8x will be powered by Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 chipset. The processor is said to have scored 600,000 points in the AnTuTu benchmark test. The company says that compared to the previous generation, the CPU performance has been improved by 25%, and the GPU performance has been improved by 30%.

The Chinese smartphone maker also revealed the battery specifications of its upcoming smartphone. The iQoo Z8x will come with a 6,000mAh battery, similar to its predecessor iQoo Z7x. The phone is said to offer up to 20 hours of short video viewing time and up to 32 hours of reading or browsing time.

Other posts from the company reveal that the iQoo Z8x will feature a dual rear camera setup housed in two circular camera cutouts. However, the detailed specifications of the smartphone camera have not been revealed yet.

The iQoo Z8x will be launched as the successor to the iQoo Z7x that was launched in China earlier this year. The phone features a 6.64-inch full HD+ display with up to 120Hz refresh rate. It is powered by Snapdragon 695 5G SoC.

The iQoo Z7x comes with a dual rear camera setup with a 50-megapixel primary sensor. It houses an 8-megapixel selfie sensor on the front. The phone is backed by a 6000mAh battery that supports 80W fast charging.
