ISRO’s Aditya-L1 Solar Mission Performs TL1I Manoeuvre, on Track to Reach Sun-Earth L1 Point

The Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) on Tuesday announced that its maiden solar mission Aditya-L1 has successfully performed a Trans-Lagrangian Point 1 Insertion (TL1I) maneuver and the spacecraft is currently on its way to the Sun – Earth’s L1 point. ISRO also stated that this marks the fifth consecutive time that ISRO has successfully transferred an object in orbit to another celestial body or another location in space.
