Reliance may soon launch two Jio smartphones in the Indian market. While details of the upcoming phones are yet to be officially revealed, they are said to have been certified by the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) website, hinting at imminent availability. Reliance is hosting its annual general meeting (AGM) event on August 28 and the company is expected to make an announcement about the Jio Phone during the event. The Jio phone is said to be powered by a Snapdragon 480 SoC paired with 4GB RAM and 32GB onboard storage.

Past leaks have claimed that the upcoming 5G phone will feature 32GB of internal storage and a 13-megapixel dual rear camera unit. It may ship with Android 12 and may feature a 6.5-inch HD+ LCD display with a 90Hz refresh rate. It is expected to feature an 8-megapixel selfie camera. The Jio Phone is expected to pack a 5,000mAh battery with support for 18W charging.
According to a report by CounterPoint Research, the 5G phone could be priced between Rs. 8,000 rupees. 12,000.
