JioBook (2023) was launched in India on Monday, July 31, as Jio’s second laptop model. The new laptop has a plastic body and is powered by an octa-core MediaTek MT 8788 processor. JioBook 4G comes with JioBlue shade and embedded Jio SIM card. This budget laptop comes with connectivity options like dual-band Wi-Fi and comes with an HDMI mini port. The JioBook (2023) comes with a 5,000mAh battery that is said to provide up to 8 hours of battery life on a single charge.

JioBook (2023) price in India has been set at Rs. 16,499.The laptop is available in the only Jio Blue color option and is available in pre order Through Amazon, Reliance Digital’s e-commerce website and leading retail stores. It will go on sale on August 5th.

To recall, Reliance launched the first JioBook in October last year, priced at Rs 100. 15,799.

JioBook (2023) Specifications

The JioBook (2023) runs on the Android-based JioOS operating system and features an 11.6-inch HD (768X1,366 pixels) display. The 4G laptop has a plastic body and a built-in 4G SIM card. It runs on octa-core MediaTek MT8788 processor paired with 4GB LPDDR4 RAM and 64GB inbuilt storage. Available storage is expandable up to 256GB via microSD card. Last year’s JioBook was powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 SoC paired with Adreno 610 GPU, 2GB RAM and 32GB eMMC storage.

The JioBook (2023) features connectivity options including Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5, HDMI mini port, and 3.5mm headphone jack. The laptop comes with dual stereo speakers and is equipped with a 2-megapixel webcam. It comes with a 5,000mAh battery that is said to offer up to 8 hours of battery life on a single charge. The JioBook (2023) is also ultra-light, weighing only 990 grams. The weight of the new model is significantly higher than the previous model’s 1.2 kg.
