Moto G84 5G confirmed to launch in India soon. The launch date of the smartphone has now been revealed. Over the past few weeks, leaks and rumors about the upcoming phone have hinted at its design and key features. The company also revealed key specs of the phone, including camera, SoC, and storage details, and teased its design and color options. The phone is likely to be an upgraded version of the Moto G82 5G that was released in 2022 and the Moto G73 5G that was launched earlier this year.
Flip Kart microsite The upcoming Moto G84 5G has confirmed that the phone will launch in India on September 1st. The page also reveals that it will feature a 6.55-inch 10-bit pOLED display with a refresh rate of 120Hz and a peak brightness of 1300 nits.
The phone is confirmed to be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 SoC paired with 12GB RAM and 256GB onboard storage. It will come with Android 13 pre-installed. The phone is also confirmed to come in three color options, Marshmallow Blue, Midnight Blue, and Viva Magenta. According to the microsite, the Viva Magenta shade will come with a vegan leather finish.
In the camera section, the phone is confirmed to feature a 50-megapixel primary rear sensor with Optical Image Stabilization (OIS), along with a secondary 8-megapixel ultrawide sensor, an 8-megapixel depth sensor, and an LED flash unit. They’re placed on a slightly raised rectangular camera island in the upper left corner of the rear panel. The front-facing camera sensor will be placed inside a center-aligned punch-hole notch at the top of the display.
The phone will come with Dolby Atmos and Moto Spatial audio support and stereo speakers. The Moto G84 will support 5G connectivity and is confirmed to come with a 5,000mAh battery and 30W wired fast charging. It also has an IP54 rating for dust and splash resistance.
