Oppo is about to launch new A-series phones which also includes the Oppo A38. According to reports, the smartphone has appeared on various certification websites. While the company is yet to confirm the launch of the smartphone, a recent report has leaked renders and specifications of the alleged Oppo A38. The phone is expected to be the successor to the Oppo A36 that was launched in January last year. It is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 SoC paired with 8GB RAM and 256GB internal storage.

The smartphone is expected to be priced around EUR 159 (nearly Rs 14,200) for the 4GB RAM + 128GB storage variant.

While the company has not revealed any details about the smartphone, it is reported to be launching in Europe in September. The phone may also come to India and other Asian markets soon. In terms of configuration, OPPO A38 is said to be equipped with a 6.56-inch LCD HD+ display with a resolution of 1612X720 pixels and a refresh rate of 90Hz.

Oppo’s smartphone is expected to be powered by MediaTek Helio G80 SoC paired with 4GB RAM and 128GB storage. The Oppo A38 could run the Android 13 operating system with Oppo’s ColorOS 13 skin. For the camera, the smartphone will reportedly feature a dual-camera rear unit consisting of a 50-megapixel camera and another 2-megapixel macro sensor. A 5-megapixel selfie camera is said to be mounted on the front.

The report also mentions that the OPPO A38 will have a 5,000mAH battery that can be charged using a USB Type-C cable. The smartphone has a plastic body and is expected to have an IP54 rating for water and dust resistance.
