The Pixel Phone Simulator website shows off the upcoming Pixel 8 Pro’s rear camera module, which includes three cameras, just like last year’s Pixel flagship – this year’s model has all three cameras in the same cutout in the raised camera module Inside.
Like other Pixel models that have been announced, the site also allows users to select components of the phone and view details as well as a visual representation. This isn’t the first time Google has leaked an upcoming phone on its own — last week, Google unveiled a porcelain-colored Pixel 8 Pro on its US Google Store website. A recent report claimed that Google plans to enhance software support for its next-generation Pixel phones by providing operating system updates for up to five years. That would put Google’s OS update support window on par with Apple, which also offers about five OS updates for all of its smartphones.
