The Realme GT 5 has been confirmed to go on sale in China on August 28. The phone will be unveiled alongside the Realme Buds Air 5 true wireless stereo (TWS) earphones. The Realme GT 5 has already been teased to run on Qualcomm’s flagship Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC with up to 24GB of RAM. Furthermore, ahead of the official launch, a well-known tipster has released what is claimed to be a render of the phone, hinting at its design. The Realme GT 5 sports a slightly curved display with a punch-hole cutout in the center.

The launch event will begin at 2:00 pm local time (11:30 pm CST). The Realme Buds Air 5 TWS earphones will also debut at the same event in China. Realme is teasing its upcoming phone with the tagline “Leapfrog”.

Last week, Realme CMO Xu Qi Chase revealed the specifications of the Realme GT 5. It is confirmed to run on Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC coupled with up to 24GB of onboard memory. It will also come with 240W fast charging support.

The Realme GT 3 has a triple rear camera setup consisting of a 50-megapixel Sony IMX890 primary sensor with Optical Image Stabilization (OIS) and a 16-megapixel camera sensor at the front. It is powered by a 4,600mAh battery that supports 240W SUPERVOOC charging.
