Redmi SonicBass Wireless Earphones 2 were launched in India on Tuesday. The neck-mounted earphones were unveiled alongside the Redmi 12 4G and Redmi 12 5G. They feature 9.2mm dynamic drivers and a Bluetooth range of 10m. This newly launched headset succeeds the Redmi SonicBass wireless headset released in October 2020. It is equipped with a 9.2mm dynamic unit and a 120mAh battery, which can provide up to 12 hours of music playback and about 200 hours of standby time. The first generation earphones were launched at Rs. 1,299.

The Redmi SonicBass Wireless Earphones 2 are available in Black and Blue color options and are priced at Rs. India has 1,199. They will be available nationwide from 12 noon on August 2 via the official Redmi website, Mi Home, Amazon, Flipkart and Xiaomi retail stores.

Redmi claims that the earphones can provide users with up to 16 hours of music playback time, and it takes about 2 hours to fully charge. It is said that charging for 10 minutes can provide 143 minutes of music playback at 50% volume. The standby time of Redmi SonicBass Wireless Headphones 2 is approximately 230 hours.

The earphones come with a USB Type-C port for charging. The Redmi SonicBass Wireless Headphones 2 have an IPX5 waterproof rating. The neckband headphones are said to weigh around 22 grams.
