The Samsung Galaxy S24 series is expected to debut in early 2024 as the South Korean tech giant’s flagship lineup. The Galaxy S24 series is expected to consist of three models – Galaxy S24, Galaxy S24+ and Galaxy S24 Ultra. A few months before the launch, several rumors about the upcoming smartphone have been circulating on the internet. Recently, the camera details of the high-end model Galaxy S24 Ultra were leaked. Now, word is that the Ultra version will feature a flat display.

Tipster Ice Universe (@UniverseIce) suggestion X (formerly Twitter) said that the Galaxy S24 Ultra is likely to have a flat screen, as can be seen from the details of the phone’s width of 79mm. That’s unlike other Ultra phones Samsung has launched with curved displays.

In another post, the whistleblower also disclose The expected size of the Galaxy S24 Ultra is 162.3 X 79 X 8.6mm, the screen is 6.8 inches, the display resolution is 3120×1440 pixels, and the aspect ratio is 19.5:9.

Previous leaks about the smartphone have suggested that the Galaxy S24 Ultra smartphone may come with a new OLED display made from M13 material. The smartphone, along with other models in the Galaxy S24 series, is expected to be powered by Exynos 2400 SoC in some markets and Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC in other countries. The phone is also said to support 45W fast charging.

In terms of cameras, the Galaxy S24 Ultra is reportedly equipped with an upgraded telephoto camera sensor than its predecessor, the Galaxy S23 Ultra. The upcoming smartphone may feature a 50-megapixel telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom. Another report suggests that the smartphone may be equipped with a 200-megapixel Samsung HP2 main camera and a 12-megapixel Sony IMX564 ultra-wide-angle lens. It is expected to run on Android 14-based One UI 6.0 out of the box.
