The company announced the same on Sept. 4. The latest update brings several new features, including improved health sensors, enhanced sleep tracking, personalized heart rate zone information, and more. In addition to software improvements, the watch update also brings the July 2023 security patch.

It also brings the July 2023 security patch to the watch.According to the changelog shared Samsung says the latest software update for the Galaxy Watch 4 Classic and Galaxy Watch 4 brings new watch faces and tiles, including a Buds controller tile, a timer tile, and a battery tile that shows the battery levels of all connected Samsung devices.

The Galaxy Buds module is said to allow users to turn 360-degree audio on or off directly from the watch. Additionally, users can set photo albums as wallpapers or backgrounds instead of individual images. The update also enables users to save watch data backups in Samsung Cloud through the Smart Switch app. Not only that, but people can pair the smartwatch with a new phone without having to do a factory reset.

In addition, the One UI 5 Watch software update adds enhanced sleep guidance and provides cycling workout records and personalized heart rate zones. Other highlights include the ability to adjust call volume, mute, and press buttons on the keypad from the watch itself. It also enables Bixby to read notifications.

With the latest update, Galaxy Z Flip 5 or Fold 5 owners can even take photos from their watch by tapping the camera icon that appears when the phone’s camera is turned on in Flex mode or Tent mode.
