According to reports, the latest update can be downloaded via the Galaxy Wearable app on the phone. It is said to come with several new features, including a new Sleep Insights UI, improved SoS functionality, and personalized heart rate zones that are said to provide real-time running analysis.
Additionally, the One UI 5 Watch update will reportedly add new watch faces and tiles. The Galaxy Buds Tile allows users to turn 360-degree audio on or off. Also added in the new update is the ability to set a photo album as a wallpaper or background instead of a single image.
Additionally, the update is said to make it possible to pair the smartwatch with a new phone without the need for a factory reset. Other highlights include the ability to answer calls through the Galaxy, control call volume, mute, and support for voice dictation. The One UI 5 Watch update also allows users to check the watch’s battery status, storage information, and memory information.
According to reports, to download the new One UI 5 Watch update, users need to go to the Galaxy Wearable app > Watch Settings > Watch Software Update and select “Download and Install.” Users are advised to download the update over a WiFi network.
