Samsung is reportedly rolling out the Wear OS 4-based One UI 5 Watch software update for the Galaxy Watch 5 series in South Korea. The company rolled out the One UI 5 Watch update with the launch of the Galaxy Watch 6 series, and now it is said that all Galaxy Watch 5 and Galaxy Watch 5 Pro owners will receive the update. The latest update is expected to bring several new features, including improved health sensors, better SOS functionality, sleep tracking, and personalized heart rate zone information.
according to a Report Via Sammobile, Galaxy Watch 5 series users in South Korea will get the latest One UI 5 Watch update. According to reports, the latest update can be downloaded via the Galaxy Wearable app on the phone. It is said to come with several new features, including a new Sleep Insights UI, improved SoS functionality, and personalized heart rate zones that are said to provide real-time running analysis.
Additionally, the One UI 5 Watch update will reportedly add new watch faces and tiles. The Galaxy Buds Tile allows users to turn 360-degree audio on or off. Also added in the new update is the ability to set a photo album as a wallpaper or background instead of a single image.
Additionally, the update is said to make it possible to pair the smartwatch with a new phone without the need for a factory reset. Other highlights include the ability to answer calls through the Galaxy, control call volume, mute, and support for voice dictation. The One UI 5 Watch update also allows users to check the watch’s battery status, storage information, and memory information.
According to reports, to download the new One UI 5 Watch update, users need to go to the Galaxy Wearable app > Watch Settings > Watch Software Update and select “Download and Install.” Users are advised to download the update over a WiFi network.
