Tecno Phantom V Flip 5G confirmed to launch in India soon. The company has already teased the design of a clamshell foldable device. The phone was previously spotted on Google Play Console, hinting at some specs. Earlier reports also leaked design renders of the phone. Now, a new leak has revealed some key details of the upcoming foldable smartphone. It is worth noting that Tecno also released the Phantom V Fold earlier this year, equipped with a 7.85-inch 2K (2000 x 2296) main display and powered by the 4nm MediaTek Dimensity 9000+ SoC.

Amazon microsite Phantom V Flip recently launched. Therefore, the phone is confirmed to be sold in India through e-commerce websites. While the page doesn’t reveal any key details, it teases the clamshell foldable phone in a purple option.

Meanwhile, tipster Paras Guglani (@passionategeekz) via postal It was revealed on X that the Phantom V Flip, model number AD11, is expected to be available in three color options: film white, minimalist black and periwinkle purple.

According to the tipster, the clamshell foldable phone will feature a 6.9-inch AMOLED inner screen with a resolution of 2640 x 1080 pixels, and a 1.32-inch AMOLED cover screen with a resolution of 466 x 466 pixels. Both monitors are said to have a refresh rate of up to 120Hz.

The Phantom V Flip was previously expected to be powered by an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 1300 SoC and is expected to be equipped with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of built-in storage. It may also come with Mali-G77 GPU and come with Android 13 pre-installed.

In terms of optics, the Phantom V Flip is expected to feature a dual-camera unit with a 64-megapixel primary sensor with autofocus and a 13-megapixel sensor with an ultra-wide-angle lens. The front camera is said to pack a 32-megapixel sensor.

Tecno’s Phantom V Flip is expected to come with a 4,000mAh battery. It is also expected to support 5G, Bluetooth 5.3 and USB Type-C port connectivity. The dimensions of the phone when unfolded are said to be 72.35mm x 74mm x 7.05mm. When folded, the thickness of the phone is expected to be 15.1mm.
