Tecno Pova 5 and Tecno Pova 5 Pro were launched in India on August 11th. The company has now revealed the prices of the two phones and their availability in the country. These models are successors to the Tecno Pova 4 series that was announced last December and feature a MediaTek Helio G99 SoC and a 6,000mAh battery. The regular Tecno Pova 5 is also powered by a MediaTek Helio G99 chipset, but the Tecno Pova 5 Pro is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 6080 SoC.

Technology has comfirmed Tecno Pova 5 will launch in India at a price of Rs. 11,999. Meanwhile, Tecno Pova 5 Pro is priced at Rs. 14,999. The phones are confirmed to go on sale in the country via Amazon from August 22.
The company also noted that customers can get a discount of Rs. 1,000 when replacing old equipment. One can also enjoy up to 6 months free EMI option when purchasing Tecno Pova 5 series mobile phones.
The Tecno Pova 5 Pro will be available in Dark Phantom and Silver Phantom color options, while the base Tecno Pova 5 will be available in Amber Gold, Hurricane Blue and Mech Black.

The Pova 5 series is equipped with a 6.78-inch full HD+ display with a refresh rate of 120Hz and a touch sampling rate of 240Hz. The base Pova 5 is powered by the MediaTek Helio G99 SoC like its predecessor, while the Tecno Pova 5 Pro is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 6080 chipset. The phones ship with the Android 13-based HiOS skin.
In terms of optics, both the base model and the Pro model of the Pova 5 series have a dual rear camera unit that includes a 50-megapixel primary sensor with an AI lens and an LED flash unit. The regular model has an 8-megapixel front camera sensor, while the Tecno Pova 5 Pro has a 16-megapixel selfie sensor.
The phones support 4G VoLTE, WiFi, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, USB Type-C, and NFC connectivity. They also feature a 3.5mm audio jack. The Tecno Pova 5 Pro supports 5G connectivity and has an Arc interface with LED lights on the rear panel for customization. For security, both Tecno Pova 5 series phones come with side-mounted fingerprint sensors.
The Tecno Pova 5 packs a massive 6,000mAh battery that supports 45W fast charging. The Tecno Pova 5 Pro, meanwhile, packs a 5,000mAh battery and claims to offer segment-first 68W fast charging support.
