tesla Tesla has introduced cheaper Model S and Model X vehicles in the United States as competition in the electric vehicle space continues to intensify.
The low-cost versions of the two models unveiled Monday are $10,000 cheaper than regular models, according to Tesla’s website.
The Model X starts at $88,490 with the standard range, while the Model X starts at $98,490. The less expensive version has a range of 255 miles to 269 miles. By comparison, the Model X has a range of 330 miles to 348 miles and accelerates slightly faster.
The Model S starts at $78,490 with the standard range, while the Model S starts at $88,490. The less expensive Model S version has a range of 298 miles to 320 miles. The Model S has a range of 375 miles to 405 miles.
