Vivo Pad Air With 11.5-Inch 144Hz Display, 8,500mAh Battery Announced

The Vivo Pad Air has been officially presented in China by the company’s Vice President Jia Jingdong on Weibo. The tablet has been announced to come in three color options. The specifications and other details of the device have also been confirmed. It weighs just 530 grams and packs an 8,500mAh battery that supports 44W fast charging. The latest offering from the Chinese manufacturer will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 SoC. It will feature an 11.5-inch display with a 2.8K resolution and a 144Hz refresh rate.

According to the Weibo post, the tablet will be available in three colors: Liberty Blue, Brave Pink, and Easy Silver. It weighs 530 grams and is 6.67mm thick. However, pricing, availability, and storage options for the tablet have not been revealed yet.

The Vivo Pad Air will run Android 13-based OriginOS 3. It will feature an 11.5-inch 2.8K (2800×1968 pixels) LCD display with a refresh rate of 144Hz. The tablet will feature a 3:2 aspect ratio and P3 wide color gamut. It will be powered by Snapdragon 870 SoC coupled with Adreno 550 GPU. In addition, the machine will be equipped with an 8,500mAh battery that supports 44W fast charging.

The tablet is said to feature a quad-speaker setup with Super Audio Computing sound. The new Vivo Pad Air will feature a metal body that is anti-fingerprint.

The company has yet to announce several other features of the tablet, including camera specs, RAM and storage configurations. Pricing details for the tablet are expected to be revealed at the official launch. Also, there are no details on the India launch of the device yet.
