Vivo V29e Specifications Tipped Ahead of India Launch, May Get Snapdragon 695 SoC, 5,000mAh Battery

The Vivo V29e will go official in India on August 28, and the Chinese brand is teasing its design and specifications through its social media accounts. As the launch date draws closer, more leaks about the new V-series phones have surfaced on the web. The Vivo V29e is now expected to feature a 6.78-inch curved AMOLED display powered by a Snapdragon 695 SoC paired with 8GB RAM and up to 256GB onboard storage. The upcoming Vivo phone has been confirmed to feature a 64-megapixel rear camera sensor with support for Optical Image Stabilization (OIS).

A report by TheTechOutlook cites allegedly The training document for the Vivo V29e says it will feature a 6.78-inch full HD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, 1,300 nits of peak brightness, 360Hz PWM dimming, and a 93.3 percent screen-to-body ratio. It runs on an octa-core 6nm Snapdragon 695 SoC paired with 8GB of RAM as standard. With the Extended RAM 3.0 feature, users will be able to add up to 8GB of storage to the memory.

The Vivo V29e has been confirmed to feature a 64-megapixel primary rear sensor with OIS. According to reports, it will feature an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera. For selfies and video chats, it has a 50-megapixel front camera.

Vivo is expected to offer the Vivo V29e in 128GB and 256GB storage options. It may come with a 5,000mAh battery that supports 44W fast charging.

The launch event for the Vivo V29e will take place on August 28 at 12:00 PM (UST). The smartphone has been confirmed to go on sale in the country via Flipkart. Vivo’s India website has a microsite featuring the smartphone’s design and specifications. It has a curved display with a center-aligned punch-hole cutout on the screen to house the selfie camera. Vivo V29e is said to be the thinnest phone with 3D curved screen and is priced at Rs 100. Rs 25,000 to Rs 30,000 price range.
