The Mi Mix Fold 3 is confirmed to go official in China later this month. Ahead of this, renders and live images of the phone have surfaced online, including photos of what it says is its retail box. The upcoming Mi Mix Fold 3 appears to feature a punch-hole screen design. The renders suggest a Leica-tuned quad-camera setup at the rear, arranged on a large square-shaped island. Leaked images show the Mi Mix Fold 3 in black, though the phone is likely to debut in other colors.
Weibo users (pass @yabhishehd) release Renders and retail box photos of the Xiaomi Mix Fold 3 have allegedly been shown on the Chinese social media platform, showing off the design of the phone.Additionally, alleged live images of the phone have also surfaced online. The images highlight the phone from the front and back, with a design that looks identical to what we saw on its predecessor, the Mix Fold 2. Leaked live photos show the phone in black with slightly curved corners. The back of the Xiaomi phone appears to have a large square camera module with at least four Leica-branded camera sensors along with an LED flash.
Photos taken at the scene show off the internal foldable screen of the Mix Fold 3. It is expected to offer a full-screen experience.
Xiaomi confirmed last month that the Mix Fold 3 is in the works and will be released in August. It’s been teased with a slim design.
Previous rumors and leaks about the phone have suggested that it will have an 8.02-inch full HD+ (1,080 x 2,400 pixels) inner display and a 6.5-inch cover, both with a refresh rate of up to 120Hz. It is expected to run on an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC paired with up to 16GB of LPDDDR5x RAM and up to 1TB of UFS 4.0 built-in storage. Mi Mix Fold 3 is expected to be equipped with a 4,800mAh battery that supports 50W or 67W wired fast charging.
