Ahead of the official launch of the phone on August 16, the Chinese company has teased the specifications of the OnePlus Ace 2 Pro. The new OnePlus smartphone has been confirmed to feature a 6.74-inch display with 1.5K resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, and is certified by TUV Rheinland. It will feature BOE’s Q9+ panel for improved color and visual experience. The OnePlus Ace 2 Pro is also confirmed to feature a 5,000mAh battery with support for 150W SuperVOOC fast charging. It will run on the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC and be paired with 24GB of RAM.

It is confirmed to be equipped with a BOE 6.74-inch OLED 1.5K (1,240×2,772 pixels) resolution display. This latest Q9+ panel offers a 120Hz refresh rate, HDR10+ certification and a pixel density of 450ppi. The display is certified by TUV Rheinland for low blue light emission, has a rated peak brightness of up to 1,600 nits, and features 2160Hz high-frequency PWM dimming. It also has TUV SUD Precise Touching Class S certification.
OnePlus also teased that the upcoming phone will feature ultra-thin 2.17mm bezels. The OnePlus Ace 2 Pro will be powered by a 5,000mAh battery that supports 150W SuperVOOC. This fast charging technology is claimed to charge the battery from 1% to 100% in just 17 minutes. The battery is said to last for 4 years or 1,600 charge cycles.

Earlier this week, OnePlus set August 16 as the launch date for the OnePlus Ace 2 Pro in China. It is confirmed to be powered by Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC paired with up to 24GB of RAM and up to 1TB of onboard memory. The phone also features a triple camera setup on the rear which includes a 50-megapixel Sony IMX890 primary sensor.
