Redmi Note 13 Pro+ Display Specifications Confirmed Ahead of September 21 Launch

The Redmi Note 13 Pro+ is scheduled to launch on September 21 alongside the Redmi Note 13 and Redmi Note 13 Pro. This series will succeed the Redmi Note 12 series released in 2022. The Chinese manufacturer has teased the design of the Redmi Note 13 model ahead of the launch. Redmi also revealed some key specifications of the upcoming phone, including camera and processor details. In a new teaser, Xiaomi has now confirmed the display specifications of the top-of-the-line Redmi Note 13 Pro+ model.

According to Weibo postalThe Redmi Note 13 Pro+ will be equipped with a curved AMOLED display, which will make it the first model in the Redmi Note series to use a curved panel. The screen has a resolution of 1.5K, a peak brightness of 1300 nits, and a PWM dimming rate of 1920Hz.

The display will also come with Corning Gorilla Glass Victus protection, which is said to be 1.5 times more resistant to drops and scratches than the previous generation of glass. Redmi added that the display on the Note 13 Pro+ will have higher luminous efficiency, low blue light, flicker-free and better eye protection. As seen in the teaser, the monitor will offer slim bezels and a narrow chin of 2.37mm.

The Redmi Note 13 Pro+ previously appeared on the TENAA certification website and features a 6.67-inch OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. The phone was previously teased to be powered by MediaTek’s 4nm Dimensity 7200-Ultra SoC. The Note 13 Pro model has also been confirmed to feature a custom 200-megapixel Samsung ISOCELL HP3 Discovery Edition camera sensor.

The Note 13 Pro+ is expected to succeed the Redmi Note 12 Pro+ and is expected to feature an 8-megapixel ultrawide sensor, a 2-megapixel macro camera along with an LED flash unit and a 16-megapixel front camera sensor. It is also expected to come with up to 18GB of RAM and a 4,880mAh battery.

Redmi Note 12 Pro+ is powered by an octa-core 6nm MediaTek Dimensity 1080 SoC paired with up to 12GB LPDDR4X RAM. It comes with a 5,000mAh battery that supports 120W fast charging. It features a 6.67-inch 120Hz Full HD (1,080×2,400 pixels) OLED display. Redmi Note 12 Pro+ 8GB + 256GB and 12GB + 256GB variants are priced in India at Rs. 32,999 respectively at the time of launch. It is available in Arctic White, Iceberg Blue and Obsidian Black color options.
